Message From The President

It is with a profound sense of purpose and responsibility that I extend my greetings to all visitors, collaborators, and well-wishers of the National Press Corporation Limited UK. Established on 7th April 2025, this institution emerged from a deep-seated commitment to advancing high-quality journalism, fostering intercultural dialogue, and empowering the global Nepali community—particularly those residing in the United Kingdom.

Our organization operates two bilingual online news portals that exemplify our commitment to media excellence and inclusivity. uknepalpress.com serves as a reliable source of impartial news, dedicated to factual reporting and socio-political insight. In parallel, globalbizpress.com is a platform devoted to economic discourse, showcasing stories of entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership, alongside critical business commentary, interviews, and personal success narratives. These platforms not only bridge geographic and linguistic divides but also reinforce our broader vision to become the leading media platform that connects Nepali people worldwide—promoting culture, community, and cooperation between Nepal and the UK.

At its core, the National Press Corporation was founded not only to serve as a media institution, but to play a proactive role in strengthening bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Nepal. Through our varied initiatives, we aim to foster greater mutual understanding, promote foreign direct investment in Nepal, and create opportunities that enable both today’s and future generations to contribute meaningfully to society—whether in the UK, in Nepal, or across the global Nepali diaspora.

In pursuit of our mission to connect Nepalis in the UK with their homeland through multifaceted media engagement, we have also initiated Chandra Surya FM, an online FM station tailored to the cultural and informational needs of the Nepali diaspora. With aspirations to evolve into a fully licensed FM broadcaster, this platform serves as a vital auditory link to the traditions, voices, and concerns of the community.

Complementing our written and broadcast journalism, we have launched original podcast series such as Biz Talk, Lets Be Real, and Maitighar. Biz Talk explores business insights and entrepreneurial journeys, Lets Be Real engages with young people around the world to share their thoughts and perspectives, and Maitighar features Nepali women in the UK and other countries, reflecting on their homeland, cultural memories, and experiences of hard work and life abroad. These programs offer listeners thoughtful, context-rich discussions that inform, inspire, and empower a new generation of thinkers, leaders, and changemakers.

In addition to content creation, the National Press Corporation is actively engaged in media consultancy, advertising, and institutional partnerships, working collaboratively with both grassroots organizations and professional bodies. These endeavors enable us to expand our outreach, enhance the visibility of community voices, and promote investment, development, and cross-sectoral cooperation between Nepal and the UK.

As we continue to grow, we remain anchored by our values: journalistic integrity, cultural preservation, and the empowerment of diaspora voices. Through our integrated platforms, we strive to build a more informed, cohesive, and resilient global Nepali identity—one that is both rooted in heritage and attuned to the complexities of the modern world.

Thank you for your trust and continued engagement.
